The object of Oxford Academicals Rowing Club is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, inparticular by the provision of facilities, encouragement and instruction in the sport of rowingand sculling for the public benefit of the inhabitants of Oxford and the surrounding areas.
Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is The Promotion Of Community Participation In Healthy Recreation, In Particular By The Provision Of Facilities, Encouragement And Instruction In The Sport Of Rowing And Sculling For The Public Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Oxford And The Surrounding Areas. Nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005 And Section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008.
