| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | Over the past year, we have strengthened our commitment to supporting less advantaged children in their education. Through targeted educational support and guidance, we have helped children overcome barriers to learning and access opportunities that support their academic progress and personal development. To enhance engagement and sustainability, we also invested in improving our digital presence through the development of a more effective website. The website now serves as a central hub for information, collaboration, and support. The addition of a QR code has made it easier for people to donate and directly support our work, ensuring more children can benefit in the year ahead. Over the past year, we have made a meaningful difference to charitable organisations in the UK such as: UCL Teaching and Research Development |
Programme for their excellent work into Alzheimer’s and Dementia. We gave a one-off donation to CRUK (Cancer Research UK). To ensure our work remained responsive and effective, we have developed a criteria for Community Network Programme. This engagement will enable us to better understand local, regional and national needs as well as to strengthen partnerships and inform others about the development of our charity work. The criteria will be used for our international link to ensure resources are continue to be directed where they are most needed. In the coming year, the Charity plans to extend its support to widows of the children we serve, recognising the significant social and economic challenges they face abroad. This will include exploring Ghanaian and Jamaican Associations in the diaspora and building support initiatives aimed at improving family stability and wellbeing, while continuing to work in partnership with church networks that we have already established to ensure continuous support to less advantaged children in the UK and elsewhere in the world. Together, these achievements have strengthened our impact, broadened our reach and laid strong foundations for continued support of less advantaged children in the year ahead.
