To promote the relief of sickness and the preservation of health among people living in Yemen and in the UK. For Yemenis in Yemen people suffer from mental or physical illness as a result of war in Yemen or in need of rehabilitation as a result of such illness. |

| Organised half a day conference in Birmingham on 18thFebruary 2025 for health professionals who were interested in the rebuilding of the health system in Yemen. One of our trustees visited Yemen in April 2025 and produced areport 1 on public health in rural areas in some parts of Taiz Governorate. This report was shared with our partnersPeoples Praxis https ,and theYemen SIG ,Faculty of Public Health. At the time of writing this report, we are working on online and in person refresher courses for those rural health workers in the area. |

All the work we do is by the trustees of HPY-UK and individual partners in Yemen and abroad, e.g. the dental literature review was a collaborative work with individuals in Yemen and outside Yemen.

During the reporting period, the trustees engaged proactively with the charity’s bank to complete a routine account review. The charity provided detailed information on its activities, governance arrangements, and future plans, and the review was successfully completed. The trustees welcome this as confirmation that the charity’s financial and compliance arrangements are appropriate and that the charity is well positioned to continue developing its activities and fundraising plans in line with its charitable objectives.
