Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
The Object of Hounslow Youth Counselling, Information and Support Service Charitable Incorporated Organisation (hereinafter called the CIO), is;
For the public benefit to preserve and protect good mental health and wellbeing among young people aged 11 – 25 years of age who live, work or study, in the London Borough of Hounslow, regardless of colour, race, nationality, ethnic or national origin,

gender, parental status, dependants, disability, age, religion or
belief, trade union or political beliefs, employment status, sexual
orientation, gender history, pregnancy and maternity, through the
provision of an accessible counselling, support and information
service for individuals or groups designed to promote the relief of
psychological suffering and/or suffering caused by social or
economic circumstances .
The CIO has power to do anything which is calculated to further
its object{s} or is conducive or incidental to doing so. In particular
the CIO powers include the power to:
i) Open and maintain a centre where young people are
welcome to call in or telephone or contact through the use
of appropriate internet/web/virtual processes or systems
ii) Increase effective ways of reaching out to young people
who do not on their own initiative seek counselling,
support or information from other established agencies
iii) Identify and recruit staff and volunteers and co-ordinate
staff and volunteers in this work,
iv) To provide suitable training programmes and on-going
support for all volunteers and paid staff
v) Promote, carry out or assist in promoting and carrying out
research, surveys, investigations and experimental work
and publish the results thereof and other reports of the
work of the CIO
vi) To do all such other things as are necessary to the
attainment of the said objects
All the Trustees have signed the statutory declaration and have
ticked the box around their understanding of working with
vulnerable groups and the Commissions safeguarding guidance.
They are willing to act as a trustee of the organisation and
understand its purposes. They are not prevented from acting as a
trustees.

Summary of the main achievements of the charity HYCS IS IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING FROM CHARITY during the year NUMBER 296333 TO THIS NEW INCORPORATED CHARITY. The work that we delivery has not changed and as we are still operating under charity no 296333 we have nothing to report as yet under this charity. The process to move our assets and to closed the Charity Number 296333 has been completed 31[st] March 2024 and this charity will be fully operational from 1[st] April 2024. Please see the annual report from charity 296333 for details of our work over the past year. 2023 to March 2024.
