OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

The Objects of the CIO are such exclusively charitable purposes for the public benefit as the charity trustees may in their absolute discretion determine and in particular, but without limitation, the advancement of the Christian faith for the benefit of the public in accordance with the Statement of Faith appearing in the schedule.

The CIO is recently formed. The trustees are identifying and considering projects to support which can be regarded as being for the benefit of the public.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE

The bank account was opened on 23 December 2021.There had been no activities. However with the recent donation received in April 2023, the trustees would be identifying and considering projects which can be regarded as being of benefit to the public.

FINANCIAL REVIEW

There was £13884 in the account on 31/5/2023.

STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT

The charity is a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation). It was recently formed. Three trustees had been appointed.

9. RESERVES POLICY

The charity does not currently have a reserves policy in place.

PUBLIC BENEFIT

The CIO acknowledges its requirement to demonstrate clearly that it must have charitable purposes or ‘aims’ that are for the public benefit. Details of how the CIO has achieved this are provided in the trustees report. The trustees confirm that they have paid due regard to the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit before deciding what activities the CIO should undertake.

1. BASIS OF ACCOUNTING

The accounts have been prepared under the “Receipts and Payments” basis as prescribed by the Charity Commissioners, and they meet the appropriate legal requirements. The Trustees confirm, in accordance with the Charitable Incorporated Organisations (General) Regulations 2012, that at the year end the CIO did not have any outstanding guarantees to third parties nor any debts secured on assets of the CIO.
