To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Westfield without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, race or political, religious, or other opinions, by associating together local inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other in a common effort to advance education, provide facilities and improve conditions of local life.

Objects: The Objects Are As Follows:-1. The Promotion For The Benefit Of The Public Of Regeneration In The Westfield Area Of Yeovil, Somerset By All Or Any Of The Following Means:(a) The Maintenance, Improvement Or Provision Of Public Amenities;(b) The Provision Of Recreational Facilities For The Public At Large Or Those Who By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances, Have Need Of Such Facilities;(c) The Protection Or Conservation Of The Environment;(d) The Promotion Of Public Safety And Prevention Of Crime;(e) Such Other Means As May From Time To Time Be Determined Subject To The Prior Written Consent Of The Charity Commissioners For England And Wales; And2. To Promote For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Westfield Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Other Leisure Time Occupations With The Objects Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants.the “Area Of Benefit” Is Westfield (Yeovil), Defined As The Area Bounded By Preston Road, Larkhill Road, Thorne Lane, And Ilchester Road.
