Review of the charity’s Para Funds held at the year end totalled
financial position at the 1.21 £185,235. This is currently held in current or
end of the period interest bearing bank accounts
Statement explaining the Para Midhurst Palliative Care CIO has been formed
policy for holding 1.22 to provide funding for the Midhurst
reserves stating why Macmillan Service, as Macmillan Cancer
they are held Support have decided to withdraw their
funding. We understand that Macmillan have
sufficient restricted funds to enable them to
provide grants for the running costs of the
Midhurst Macmillan Service until the end of
2024. At that time we need to hold sufficient
reserves to provide our share of the funding
which we estimate to be approximately
£500,000 per annum. We will want to hold
more than one year’s worth of funding in
hand at that time.
