THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF BEREAVED WIDOWS AND THEIR DEPENDENTS IN THE UK, NIGERIA AND GHANA FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: A) PROVIDING GRANTS OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, SERVICES AND ITEMS TO SUPPORT ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED WIDOWS; B) OFFERING EMOTIONAL AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT TO WIDOWS IN THE GRIEVING PROCESS AND TO SUPPORT THEIR READJUSTMENT
Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is:to Relieve The Needs Of Bereaved Widows And Their Dependents In The UK, Nigeria, Ghana And Rwanda For The Public Benefit, In Particular But Not Exclusively By:a) Providing Grants Of Financial Assistance, Services And Items To Support Economically Disadvantaged Widows;b) Offering Emotional And Practical Support To Widows In The Grieving Process And To Support Their Readjustment To Life Without A Spouse, Including Advice And Support From Qualified Experts;c) Equipping Widows With New Skills To Enable Them To Join Or Re-Enter The Workplace; D) Providing Grants Of Financial Assistance To Organisations In Nigeria And Ghana Whose Work Involves The Support Of Socially And Economically Disadvantaged Widows And Their Dependants.
