I would like to thank everybody for attending this aftemoon and would like to thank everybody who has helped wth the work so far and assists.ng in the marking out of the field. I would also like to take this OppOnty to welcome all the new members to the dub. Sagittarii first registered as a Charitable Incorporated OrganisatK)n (CIO) under Chanty number 1195397 on 5th August 2021. In late July l August 2024 GNAS l Arthery GB (AGB) made thanges to the affiliats'on system ready for the annual renewal in September l October. This induded Ihe move to annualized membership whereby members renew on the anniversary that they Join and the removal of Pro- Rating where fees can be reduced for new members part way through the year. GNAS I AGB also thanged the age groups to fall more in line with Wodd Archery. GNAS I AGB also allowed members to renew their GNAS I AGB membership themselves through Sport'.80, the membership portal. This gave the club no trme to check out options available to us and it was decided to review the system and invesb'gate further. After speaking to a number of people, particularty Southampton Archery Club who had recenty altsred their structure. INe moved to our new ground in earfy July 2023 and were able to start shoob'ng on 161h after seth'ng out the field which still needs vnrk. but we have made a stsrt and it has been re-marked out to the required distances, bLrt we will still need help. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members vtho did help with this. The dub cannot run wthout support and as a reminder have no paid employees and runs solely at the expense of members generosity giving their time so that we can all enjoy the dub and sport. Last year and this some of our members attended a few local shoots and actually came away with medals in thelr Ilrst competftlcrf15. We also held a number of competltlons over the wlnter period which were extremely successful and were enjoyed by all who took pa This year I would like to Introdu coaching evenings for intermediate archers where they can leam more about equipment, drills and skills, more advanced teChnUeS. etc. Our New journey continues. and I look for4Yard to another successful year......
