Financial Review

Financial Review
Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period
Para 1.21 As at 31 December 2022, the Foundation had a
positive cash balance of £7,548 driven mainly
by donations and after having invested £4,500
in additional instrument purchases to be able to
loan more instruments to financially
disadvantaged students. The Foundation is now
starting to award grants for musical education
assistance. We expect to award more grants
going forward as more students become aware
of the Foundation through various concerts held
and sponsoring awards at well respected
musical festivals (North London Music Festival)
for young students.

policy for holding reserves
stating why they are held
Para 1.22 Reserves are not currently held as outgoings
are never expected to exceed income. This

and this approach will be reviewed periodically.
