Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | We match funded the role of Well Being Navigator until January 2023 at which point it switched a position funded directly by the NHS. Working with Hastings House Medical Practice we assisted in provision of a three month trial of a Dementia Navigator which proved extremely successful and as a result the charity has agreed to fund the role on a part time basis for a twelve month period. Subject to obtaining further grant funding we intend to increase our funding, enabling an increase in the number of days that the navigator service operates. We have funded the purchase of a Bovie Derm 942 which will enable Hastings house surgery to bring a second minor operations suite into use to reduce the current nine months waiting time for procedures and we understand that this is already having an impact. |
