We are Zaytuna, a social welfare organisation which aims to interconnect local communities, with over 10 years of experience.This charity caters for women who are of a protected group but is also welcoming to other women who are interested.We currently have ongoing project for all ages.
Objects: (A)to Relieve Elderly People Resident In Birmingham And Surrounding Areas Who Are In Need, By Providing Social Space To Combat Loneliness, And Items, Services Or Facilities Calculated To Relieve The Needs Of Such Persons.(b)to Act As A Resource For Young People, Especially Females Living In Birmingham And Surrounding Areas By Providing Advice And Assistance And Organising Programmes Ofphysical, Educational, And Other Activities As A Means Of: • Advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Their Skills, Understanding And Knowledge, Capacities, And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature, And Responsible Individuals. • Promoting Good Citizenship. • Advancing Education • Relieving Unemployment; By Supporting Young People In Developing Their Entrepreneurship And Enterprising Skills And Apprenticeships In View Of Becoming Financially Independent • Providing Recreational And Leisure Time Activity In The Interests Of Social Welfare For People Living In The Area Of Benefit Who Have Need By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Poverty, Or Social And Economic Circumstances With A View To Improving The Conditions Of Life Of Such Persons. (C)to Advance The Religion Of Islam For The Benefit Of The Public Through Raising Awareness And Understanding Of The Islamic Faith. (D)the Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty Or Financial Hardship Anywhere In The World, In Particular Mogadishu, Somalia, By Providing Or Assisting In The Provision Of Education, Training, Healthcare Projects And All The Necessary Support Designed To Enable Individuals, In Particular Orphans To Generate A Sustainable Income And Be Self-Sufficient.
