The purpose of Sherbornes with Pamber Ministry Trust {SwPMTI Is to advance the Christian religion in the diocese of Winchester primarily within the parish of the Sherbornes with Pamber and in particular (but not exclusively) . to pay or contribute towards the salary, costs and expenses lincluding the provision of living accommodation} of a Christian worker or workers employed by the Parochial Church Council IPCCI of the Sherbornes wlth Pamber ISWPI and approved by the trustees and to support evangelism and pastoral work. Financlal Revlew Expendlture of £ 6,982 was up by 27% on the previous year. This was made up of gifts to the PCC of £ 6,221 lup 35%) and £395 to the SSJ school (down 29%) and fees to the independent examlner of £480 lup 25%). All expenditure was in accordance with the aims of the Trust. The gifts to the PCC were £500 towards the cost of updating their website and £2,CQO for the costs of Youth & Children's Ministry. £221 for ministry reading materials and £3.500 to support the PCC contributing the full cost of a full-time minister to the Diocese of Winchester in 2024. The PCC did not employ a Parish Ministry Assistant during the year. The Income of £ 26.952.41 wa5 up by 5% compared to the previous year. This was made up of regular donations of £ 15,470.IXI (down 12%), one-off donations of£ 557.50 (down 30%), Gift Aid reclaimed of £ 3,978 lup 18%>, interest on deposits of £6.946 70%). Donations are mainly from members of the church congregation. Enquiries about donations are dealt with confidentially by the parish stewardship secretary Lynda Harding* who administers the 81ft aid reclalms. The ossets at the end of the year were £278,406.84 lup 8%>. Thls reflected an Increase in funds of £19,969.91 reflectin8 that the PCC did not employ a PMA during the year. There are no restricted funds and hence all existing fund5 can be used for any purpose permitted within the trust rules. The trustees intend to use the bequest of £179,788 passed to It bv the SWPPT as a separate Property Fund to cover future accornmodation costs of PMAS. This may Involve taking a mort8a8e loan to supplement the bequest to afford purchaslng a sultable property, but the Jmescale for this remalns uncertaln.

Resperti¥e responsibillties of the Trnstees and the Examlner The trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144121 of the Charities Act 2011 Ithe 2011 Act) and that an Independent examinatton is needed.
