Objects: The Objects Of North Northants First Responders Are 1. The Relief Of Sickness And The Preservation And Protection Of Good Health By The Provision Of Trained First Response Volunteers, To Attend Medical Emergencies As Directed By The East Midlands Ambulance Service, Or Its Successors, Prior To The Arrival Of A Fast Response Vehicle Or Ambulance. 2. To Advance The Education Of The Public In Basic Life Support In Particular, But Not Exclusively, By The Provision Of Training In Its Principles And Practice. 3. Supporting The Provision And Maintenance Of Community Funded Defibrillators In North Northamptonshire 4. To Provide First Aid Cover At Local Community Events In North Northamptonshire Either Free Of Charge Or In Accepting A Donation. Covering Local Events Increasing The Scheme Profile In The Community And Offers Additional Opportunities For Life Saving Training.
