Achievements and Performance
SORP reference Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the Para 1.20 difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. The Trust … Having established, during the previous reporting period, a capability (the ACP Unit) for assessing airspace change proposals and co-ordinating responses; - Created a database summarising and recording status of the over 200 extant ACPs together with prioritisation for action in support of GA’s interests. - Agreed with stakeholders and engaged periodically to develop co-ordinated responses to policy and regulatory proposals (including Airspace Modernisation Strategy (AMS)) and Airspace Change Proposals (ACPs); - Consulted stakeholders on specific individual ACPs. Our submissions were among those which led to CAA assessment, in a number of cases, that the ACP sponsor had not achieved adequate, equitable, consideration of all parties’ interests, and consequently those ACPs were rejected. Both the rejection of those proposals and the weight added to the development of improved processes for the future are a significant contribution to the public benefit, particularly in recreational GA sector but also in other areas of aviation. - Engaged with CAA and DfT on Airspace policy, specifically on Airspace Modernisation Strategy and through wider NATMAC consultations, representing GA’s interests with written reports. - Identified and scoped specific projects that were to form the initial DfT funded projects and, respectively, submissions to the AMS Support Fund. All the above are either directly contributing to policy development or preparatory to projects to influence and develop, in the longer term, airspace policy improvement and as such are contributing to the public benefit of improving the safety of UK aviation.

Para 1.21 | The Trust had negligible income in this period so was dependent on deferred (and mostly conditional) income from the previous period. After payment of continuing operational costs at the beginning of this reporting period, but not having been granted extension of DfT funding, the trusts activities were limited to essential support costs of the ACP database and minimised administrative expenses (e.g. Bank & website/email costs). Period end balance of unrestricted funds was £8,891. |

Independent examiners' report to the trustees of The Airspace4All Trust
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 30th June 2023.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I am qualified to undertake the examination by being a qualified member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or

the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
-
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and
-
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

1 Accounting policies
Basis of preparation
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102, and the accounting reporting guidelines of the Charities Act 2011.
Incoming resources
Grants and donations are recognised where there is entitlement, certainty of receipt and the amount can be measured with sufficient reliability.
