Organisational Management The charity completed a review of the management meeting structure and deemed it necessary to combine two meetings into one holistic, streamlined organisational management meeting with the heads of each subsection. Summary ofthe objects ofthe charity set out in its governing document We continued our support to the local community responding to incidents across the county (Surrey) and neighbouring counties including London and Sussex. We onboarded a new intske of volunteers at the end of 2022 and have bolstered our active members. enabling us lo maintain a high level of operational responsiveness to callouts.. 52 Surrey callouts 0 16 Surrey slandbys 9 Mulual Aid callouts 2 Mutual standbys Summary ofthe main activities undertaken for tho public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that truslees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit) Our peak activrty is unpredictable and can vary seasonally. We are seeing a trend toward lower callouts over the summer months, with spikes in callout numbers and incident hours in the darker months of the year. A trend could be obseThed between February and June as having higher callout numbers and inadent hours than other times in the year. We continue to collect this data and maintain open feedback loops and communications streams with Surrey Police. We have achieved an operational Dog member of the team which is recognised as a great achievemenl the charity is proud of due to the number of training hours and dedication put in. We have bolstered our Membership and Wellbeing leadership roles to now have two ccpleads on this area - one male and one female. Surrey SAR'S trustees confirm Ihey have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the charity commission in exercising their pt)wers or duties.
