We support a school for children with special needs, in particular children with Austim. The trustees decide as a committee how to spend the funds raised, however We liase with the headteacher and other members of staff for advise as to appropriate resources to help advance their education due to pupils having various levels of needs. The highlight of last year was the purchase of the minibus. The minibus is used to take the children out on visits and is a great asset to the school. Section D Achievements and performance The highlight of last year was the purchase of the minibus, after lots of delays and problems due to Covid and shortage of parts the balance of £26,992 was paid and the minibus arrived. This was made possible by the successful application for three grants and a private donation totalling £30,000. With new volunteers and enthusiasm, a Summer Fayre was held and was very successful. PTFA Tettenhall Wood report year Oct 23-Oct 24 Highlights Grants were all received so we were able to purchase a new Mini bus for school and this was delivered in January 2024. Thanks have to go to Roger and Julie for completing the paperwork and securing the funds which made this purchase possible. We held an Easter raffle which raised funds of £349 for the general PTA accounts. We were able to contribute to £5 per child for xmas presents. Totalling £820, The Library fvndraising started in June 2024.
