Continuo Foundation supports the UK Early Music sector and helps it to flourish. Continuo awards project grants to period-instrument ensembles to share music heritage through outstanding creative projects enabling live concerts across the UK, and in important recordings. Continuo also promotes Early Music through the Continuo Connect website and newsletter, focused on growing audiences nationwide.

Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is:to Advance Education In The Art And Science Of Music In Particular But Not Exclusively To Promote, Develop And Maintain Education In The Appreciation And Knowledge Of Classical Music Heritage And Historically-Informed Performance Practice For The Public Benefit By Providing Grants To UK Based Period Ensembles And Freelance Musicians Specialising In Repertoire From The Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical And Early Romantic Periods.
