Charitable Objectives

Introduction
The Charity was set up in May 2021 and therefore is only recently registered. As a new charity there has not been a lot of activity in our third year of operation, however we achieved the following:

Challenges going forward
2023/24 was a challenging macroeconomic environment. The war in Ukraine continued and the UK political and economic stability was tenuous. Furthermore, the humanitarian crisis and war in the Middle East was also challenging.
Financial Overview
Costs
The primary cost was maintenance of our website.
Income
A small amount of income was raised from friends and family, all of whom are based in the UK.
Steps going forward
We will look to promote the website via various channels; friends and families of the trustees as well as using our website to find further donations.

We are a small charity and we do face challenges. This includes growing the charity in a sustainable way. Another challenge is the general negative economic outlook in the UK which could hinder our fundraising efforts.
Our aim is to incrementally increase donations within our existing network.
Structure and Governance
There will be no changes in the foreseeable future. The charity is nascent and small. However, when this changes and activity increases, we have plans to increase the size of the organisation (in terms of volunteers) by 2030.
