As a new charity there has not been a lot of activity in our third year of operation, however we achieved the following: - Disbursement of a small amount of funds to a liberal arts college based in Cambridge - Maintenance of website ## **Risk Management** and safeguarding policies ## **Challenges going forward** 2023/24 was a challenging macroeconomic environment. The war in Ukraine continued and the UK political and economic stability was tenuous. Furthermore, the humanitarian crisis and war in the Middle East was also challenging. ## **Financial Overview** ## **Costs** The primary cost was maintenance of our website. ## **Income** A small amount of income was raised from friends and family, all of whom are based in the UK. ## **Steps going forward** We will look to promote the website via various channels; friends and families of the trustees as well as using our website to find further donations. projects which we will want to fund – subject to them meeting our grant making policy requirements. We are a small charity and we do face challenges. This includes growing the charity in a sustainable way. Another challenge is the general negative economic outlook in the UK which could hinder our fundraising efforts. Our aim is to incrementally increase donations within our existing network. ## **Structure and Governance** There will be no changes in the foreseeable future. The charity is nascent and small.
