Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 We are struggling to open bank
accounts for the charity. We
approached many banks and all
declined to open accounts for us. This
is making it impossible to collect funds.
However, the trustees obtained some
personal protective equipment costing
around £2000.00. This was sent to a
peripheral hospital in the Eastern
Sudan. This equipment was desperately
needed by the health staff there. It
helped them to perform their duties
while being protected against
transmission of COVID infection.
Our sister organisation in the Sudan,
known as SEDSO ( Sudan Education
Supporting Organisation ), is receiving
funds from North America, Canada,
Australia, Gulf states, and some
European countries. It managed to build
some new schools, refurbish some
existing schools, and dig some wells.
The ongoing war in the Sudan, which
started in April 2023, is almost putting
**everything at hold. **
