Summary ofthe main achievements of the charity during tho year The charity trained and graded 10 new search dog teams to begin lifesaving operations with their mountain rescue leams. The remaining trainees make good progress through the training Programme. The graded dog leams maintain their operational ststu$ via logbook tasks in order to maintain their skills. TAR March 2012
MRSDE'S policy is to maintain a reserve of unrestricted funds, excluding those designated for Specif purposes, equTvalent to three years of essential running costs. This reseNe provides a safeguard against prolonged income shortfalls or unexpected major expenses, ensuring that the charity's core actlvities can continue while alternative funding sources are explored. We do not operate a formal investment pollcy. but surplus funds are held in low-risk deposit accounts to preserve value and ensure availability when needed.
