Para 1.20 The lifting of COVID restrictions has meant
we have been able to sponsor more in
person events for the children that we
support and deploy some of the excess
cash that was available from the previous
year. These funds have been used for
activity days for young careers such as
‘Clip n climb’, a trip to a residential camp, a
trip to a pantomime, creating and
distributing Christmas hampers to young
careers and their families, and helping fund
private education fees for a child with a
difficult family life with the support of The
Royal Springboard. As well as fund raising,
the charity has organised and volunteered
at craft days, and a trip to a local zoo. The
activities and hampers provided have
offered relief and entertainment to those
young careers the charity aims to benefit
who would be otherwise unable to enjoy
these events.
