Chrysalis Annual report 20/2/22 to the 20/2/23 Completed by Adrian Cunningham Charity Founder

This is the second year of the charity and we have been focusing on recruiting trustees and developing our policies and procedures.

Between 20/22022 to 20/2/2023 we did 11 awareness day throughout North Yorkshire setting up a information centre where men could come and have a chat and get information about the help they needed if they were struggling with their mental Health. We would also signpost people to local groups in their area.

We joined up with Hub of Hope which provides support groups around England. This allowed us to offer individual we met at our awareness days an opportunity to attend support groups.

Our website also provided enquiries from men struggling with their mental Health. We employed some administrative help to help us keep our website up to date and we ran regular articles on Facebook raising awareness’s arounds men’s mental health and suicide.

We ran our men's talking group every Wednesday night.

The group provides a safe none judgmental place for men to come and have a chat with us.

We have had great success with the group and had a reasonable level of attendance.

In the summer we used some of the charity funds to take so of our service users to do activities such as axe throwing and bowling.

Thank you to the Trustees, volunteers and all that have supported the charity over the past 12 months.
