Objects: The Relief Of Sickness And The Preservation And Protection Of Good Health Among Persons Sufferingfrom Sickle Cell And Thalassaemia, In Particular But Not Exclusively By:a) Providing Practical Advice About The Treatment And Care Of Sickle Cell And Thalassaemia, Support,health Education And Grants To Access Counselling And Talking Therapies To Sufferers And Theirfamilies/carers;b) Advancing Education In, And Raising Awareness Of, Sickle Cell And Thalassaemia Among The Generalpublic, Educational Establishments, Corporate Institutions, Workplaces And Local Authorities Withthe Aim Of Improving The Experiences And Health Outcomes Of Those Living With The Disease.
