OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES Objectives and aims Earthsong works to bring about impactful transf0m￿tiOn in three main areas= music educalK)n. herbal med￿lne, and environmental regeneration. We lake a strategic approach lo granl-making and do not respond lo unsolicited applications. Instead we build long term relationships and work closely with organisalions that ali9n with our values and demonstrate public benefit. Continuing our Commitment lo Herbal educali(K we offe¥ supported bursaries for study al UK herbal medicine colleges. Betonica and HeartwocKI. Music Education The Earthsong Programme is a major education programme based at the Bristol Beacon COn￿rt hall which we have supported for 5 years. sin￿ September 2019 we have worked intensively with over 30￿ young people across 13 primary %hools in Bristol. By engaging children across every year of primary school life we work long temi and in depth lo support hools lo Iransfomi their relalK)nship with MUS￿ so that a sch¢x)I's musical identity and the power of music are central lo who they are. The Earthsong Programme is referenced in the 2022 Nation Plan for Music Education and In February 2024, was shortliSt￿ for a National Musi¢ and Drama Award for Outstanding Musical Inib"alive. We wll share and advocate the learning of the Earthsong Programme local￿, regionalty and nationally. We 8130 5UPPOrt a Bristol Pre School with a 3 year Musician in Residence programme as well as a local theat￿ org8nis81ion working in school settiros and the Bristol Jazz festival. Environment We have long temi relationships wtih natsonal organisalions such as The Soil Association. Pesticide Action Ne￿Ork and Client Earth and support their work in Food systems Iransfomi81ion. Nabjre protection and environmental legisL41ion. FINANCIAL REVIEW Finawjcial position The charity ¢ommen¢ed granl-making from April 2022. Both grants made and spending on the Herbal Realty website increased on the prior year. but donations received exceeded this so the charity maintains a strong reserves position. Page 1

The trust will hold a reserve of £5,000, to cover unforeseen adminislralive costs. FUTURE PLANS We will wntinue to prioritize grant making lo UK based charities in the areas of music education. environmental conservation and regeneration and hèrbal medicine research and infomiation via the websrte Herbal Reality. We have strong relationships wi(h our grantees and our intention is wherever appropriate to build longer temi relationships with the beneficiaiies of our larger grants.
