Halfway Community Centre Charity is a charity that is supporting vulnerable children and families.
Objects: To Develop The Capacity And Skills Of The Members Of Halfway/sheffield In Such A Way That They Are Better Able To Identify, And Help Meet, Their Needs And To Participate More Fully In Society To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of Halfway/sheffield And The Neighbourhood, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents. In Furtherance Of These Objects But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power:to Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain Or Manage Or Co-Operate With Any Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such A Centre For Activities Promoted By The Charity In Furtherance Of The Above Objects. To Develop Educational Opportunities And Advancement Of Education For Children With Special Educational Needs And Disabilities. Development Of Individual Capabilities, Competences, Skills And Understanding. The Advancement Of Citizenship Or Community Development Covers A Broad Group Of Charitable Purposes Directed Towards Support For Social And Community Infrastructure Which Is Focused On The Community Rather Than The Individual.to Develop The Opportunities For Volunteering And The Promotion Of The Community Capacity Building. The Relief Of Those In Need, By Reason Of Youth, Age, Ill-Health, Disability, Financial Hardship Or Other Disadvantage.
