We made cash donations to some disadvantaged individuals and deprived communities to help them meet their short-terni essential basic needs. We organised conferences and provided lectures to educate the members of communitylpublic about the imEx)rtant role the Islamic religion can play in pmmotin8 peace and harniony among people in the community and in inspiring people to integrate into the wider wmmunity and to help build a strong. peaceful. friendly community. We organised rr training and workshop to safegwd parents and their children against the dangw of misuse of social media. The aim of this workshop w&s to empower parents to have some controls over their children's uses of information technology: in particular the socia] rnedia. Wc provided counselling and awareness programme for disadvantsged youth in th¢ community. The objective of this programme was to help our targeted youth understand British value and culture and the importance of integration into the wider community. Also. to encourage them to not use violence as a means of tacklin8 their social problems or for being socially excluded.
