The APPPS is the association for professionals and students of all disciplines and backgrounds, who work in the NHS, public, or voluntary sector providing psychoanalytically informed care. Our shared mission is to promote the highest standards of applied psychoanalytic and psychodynamic work and thinking in the health care system, across the whole age range.

Objects: For The Public Benefit To Advance Education In The Field Of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy In Particular For Those Working In NHS, Public And Voluntary Sectors Including But Not Limited To:a) Publishing The Journal ‘psychoanalytic Psychotherapy’ And Other Publications As Shall Be Thought Fitb) Holding And Supporting Educational Eventsc) Providing Grants For Research Into Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Ensuring The Useful Results Of Such Research Are Disseminatedd) Promoting Higher Standards Of Training And Practice In Psychotherapy In The NHS, Public And Voluntary Sectorse) Making Grants Or Loans To Support Training In Psychotherapy.
