Para 1.20 The performance “Life out of Lockdown” was
very successful in raising money for Art of
Music Foundation/Ghetto Classics Kenya. It
also benefitted the young dancers taking part in
the performance by giving them an opportunity
to work with professional dancers and be
together on stage again following lockdown.
The audience also benefitted by having the
opportunity to reflect on their lockdown
experiences and it reunited the community
following lockdown. There was a positive vibe
of celebration amongst all involved, which
brought people confidence to put lockdown
behind them and look to the future.
Dance students in Kenya benefitted from
donations towards their training so that better

teachers can be provided for them and the opportunity to develop dance technique and creative skills as well as social support through the program at Art of Music Foundation Kenya/Ghetto Classics Kenya.
