- Fundraising carried out by Tabaxh chair and trustee Sainabou Jack in June 2022 who raised money by participating in a 5k run in Manchester, UK. - Approx. £2828 was raised from the 5k run which enabled Tabaxh to sponsor three women to study construction-related courses in The Gambia. - The fees paid for the scholars for academic year 2022/2023 was 72,792.50 Dalasis (approx. £1098) - The remaining funds will be used to pay the scholars’ fees for the duration of their courses |

Para 1.20 | - Fundraising carried out by Tabaxh chair and trustee Sainabou Jack in June 2022 who raised money by participating in a 5k run in Manchester - Given that Tabaxh raised more money than expected, as an exception for this academic year 2022/2023, Tabaxh was able to sponsor three women. - The three women were selected from numerous applications and granted scholarships to study construction-related courses in The Gambia. The selection process involved the Tabaxh trustees reviewing applications submitted via the Tabaxh website, interviewing shortlisted candidates via video call, and selecting three women to receive the scholarships. - Two of the Tabaxh scholars are currently studying BSc in Planning and Design at UTG and one is studying Certificate in Trowel Vocation at the University of Applied Science, Engineering and technology (USET) |
