		gathering in the village hall, and online
		service, to repair portable items. "We

		repairing keeps things out of landfill
		incineration and n:duces unnecessary
		consumption". Public benefit:
		Reducing the need to manufacture and
		reducing waste thus lowering CO2

	3.	Cafe Zero (Object 1c)) - A community
		cafe running alongside the Repair Cafe
		which provides a place to meet each
		month for refreshments and a chat with
		displays about the ZeroCH the group's
		work. Public benefit: Providing
		homemade and homegrown produce
		thus reducing waste packaging and
		protecting the environment by limiting
		the use of artificial ferlilisers and
		reducing the need for transport.
	4.	Food Waste (Object 1c))—ZeroCH are
		working collaboratively with the
		Haddenham Parish Council (HPC) on a
		project to reduce food waste as part of
		the village's Climate Emergency Plan.
		Public benefit: Reducing waste and
		thereby reducing overall emissions.
	5.	reLeaf (Object 1d)) —Aim to double the
		tree cover in the parish of Haddenham
		by 2030. One ofthe village's goals in the
		neighbourhood plan is for the parish to
		become carbon neutral by 2030. reLeaf
		is part of delivering this and is a joint
		project between ZeroCH and HPC.
		Public benefit: Removing CO2 from the
		atmosphere and assisting in mitigating
		climate change. Providing enhanced
		wildlife habitat. Benefit to society as a
		whole and nature.
	LL	Solar Streets (Object 1a)) — Since
		January 2021 ZeroCH has supported a
		community solar panel installation
		scheme - Solar Streets. The discounted
		group-purchasing scheme is open to all
		residents and businesses who wish to

	improve the energy efficiency of their
	properties, lower their energy bills and
	reduce their carbon emissions. Detailed
	information about solar PV panels is
	available to Haddenham residents via a
	recorded webinar. Solar streets is a
	community and local council partnership
	with The Green Group (UK) Ltd
	delivering quality low cost solar PV
	installations to the local community.
	ZeroCH is not commercially involved
	with the Green Group (UK) and receives
	no financial reward for its support ofthe
	scheme. Public benefit: Reducing
	emissions from power generation,
	providing sustainable energy and
	reducing energy bills.
	7. Library ofThings (Object 1b)) —Actively
	seeking ways to create a 'Library of
	Things' that can be hired including, but
	not limited to, tools, catering equipment
	and furniture. The library negates the
	need to purchase items that would be
	rarely used. Public benefit: Reducing
	the need for manufacture thus reducing
	emissions. Reducing waste going to
	landfill.
	8. Thermal Imaging Camera (Object 2)-
	Zero Carbon Haddenham have a
	handheld Thermal Imaging Scanner
	available for loan to Haddenham village
	residents. This device is like a camera
	which takes special infra-red pictures
	which can be used to reveal any
	hotspots caused by poor insulation
	where heat is escaping from the walls,
	roof, windows or doors of a property.

	energy costs.
	9. Air Tightness testing kit (Object 2) - Air
	Tightness Testing ZeroCH is planning to
	launch a new Energy Efliciency project in
	Summer 2023. The project aims to help
	residents to turn down their heating
	thermostat by 1-degree Celsius by
	identifying drafts and improving the
	comfort of homes. Industry standard
	equipment to depressurise homes and
	expose drafts has been acquiied, tested
	and is ready to be used. Suitable
	volunteers will be recruited and trained
	and publicity information produced. A
	project plan is currently being developed.

								by ZeroCH around the village in many
								locations. The team has established a
								tree nursery to grow its own trees from
								locally collected seeds and cuttings. The
								team seeks and has applied for funding
								from local awarding organisations for the
								purchase of a water bowser, hedge
								plants, trees and ancillary materials for
								planting.
							6.	Solar Streets (Object 1a)) —Between
								June 2021-June 2022, five installations
								took place, with a total capacity ofabout
								20kWp, an estimated output of 20,000
								kWh, and savings in carbon emissions of
								approximately 4.6 tonnes of C02 per
								annum. The scheme is ongoing and the
								next annual figures will be available in
								June 2023.

		more environmentally aware. The seeds
		are to be sown so as to create a square
		metre (m') of wildflowers to encourage
		bees and other insects. The launch date
		for the project is 4~ March 2023.
