Activities
ZCH works to reduce, and mitigate the impact of, climate change and environmental degradation. We educate and raise awareness in our local community of Haddenham, plan and instigate Carbon reduction and environmental projects and lobby our local authority on Carbon reduction and environmental policy. We work both independently and alongside local groups, businesses and local government.
Objects: 1. To Conserve, Protect, And Improve The Physical And Natural Environment For The Public Benefit, In Particular, But Not Exclusively, By: A. Promoting A Reduction In The Use Of Fossil Fuels And An Increase In The Use Of Renewable Energy B. Promoting Waste Reduction By Reuse, Reclamation, Recycling And Repair C. Promoting Good, Low Carbon, Environmental Practise In The Production, Distribution And Consumption Of Food D. Promoting The Mitigation Of Co2 Production By Local Carbon Sequestration Projects Such As Tree Planting. E. Promoting The Use Of Low Carbon Means Of Transport 2. To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Conservation, Protection, And Improvement Of The Environment, In Particular, But Not Exclusively, By Promoting Good Environmental Practice And Awareness Of Related Issues.
