Other Achievements and Performance SORP relerethce The club works with a local award winning provider. Tennis Able, lo host tennis coaching and activities al the club all year round. The sessions are for young peop5e with disabilities and provide a safe. fun and nurturing environment for the players to enjoy the benefits of racket sports. The club provides supervised sessions lo a local school for children with complex needs. These sessions are run weekly in term time, the pupils play ball games on the squash court using our inleraclive squash software. The session5 develop hand eye coordination and promote physical activity in a fun and safe environment. The club provides ffee of charge use of rts facilities to both wheelchair and paraslanding tennis players encourages their participation in club activities that are open lo all The club hosts specific sessions to encourage females into sport and relain those already playing. Coached female only racketball and Squash sessions are held by the club and are open lo members and non members. The aim is lo break down barriers and perTrplions and success is measured by the attendance al the groups and the number of females from the groups that go on lo participate in other mixed activities al the club. The club has a full junior coaching programme in both tennis and squash. with Coaching available for beginners through lo county level and beyond. The elub continues lo assess the feasibility of Padel tennis courts al the club. These courts will be open lo the general ptsblic and are expected lo appeal lo a less traditional market i e. il will be attractive to people who do not see Ihemselves as rackets players bul enjoy Tecrealional play and benefit from physical and mental benefits of playing sport. The club is committed lo breaking down barriers lo play lo ensure everyonè has the opportunity to play racket sports and Padel is a key strategic project to achieving this. | I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended30/06/2024. As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). |
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
