W8 havè settled into our new home at Primièy United Reformeil Chureh, e¢ted ourstorage Shed at the back otthe Church which Is in constant U8e. Trustees have workeo hard but a150 sm8rterto reduce our costswnich has t>een necessary dueto the increase infood prices and other necessary overheads. We ha¥e seen 8 Steaty reduction in the donations of foc<J and money. but we remain grateful to these m8ny kind people. Sadly. our co-ordinator left us injanuary asa resultof which rngnyof ourwlunteers have stepped up to ¢over pans ol this key role. Our (Jeliverydrivers'taam have been busier than ever. The stock & 5hoppers'tearns hav8 done a great job collecting donaie(J food. buying and 5toringfood whilst checking on sell-by dares. We h8Ye Continued to work with professional agenciesvtho help our clients to helpthemselves out of food poverty. Responslbilities and basls of report As the trustees of the charity you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 {'the Act,). report in respect of my examination of the charitvs financial statements carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Art and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions 8iven by the Charity Commission under section 145{5}{bl of the Att. Independent examlnerfs statement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connettion with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect- accounting records were not kept in respect of the charity as requlred by sertion 130 of the Act,. or the financial statements do not accord with those records; or the financial statements do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fairf view which is not a mattÈr considered as part of an independent examination.
