We have been fortunate in recruiling2 new Trustees. Emily Kane has become ourSafeguardingOffi'oer3niJ Peier Herd
has takpn on lh8 responsiDilityof t)eing our Healfh & Safety Officeraiongwiin various otner roles.
W8 havè settled into our new home at Primièy United Reformeil Chureh, e￿¢ted ourstorage Shed at the back otthe
Church which Is in constant U8e.
Ourciient nurnber3 ha¥e remained high ai approximaieiy ILK) people 8 ￿￿kforWhorn we have provided emergencyfood
parcets.
Trustees have workeo hard but a150 sm8rterto reduce our costswnich has t>een necessary dueto the increase infood
prices and other necessary overheads. We ha¥e seen 8 Steaty reduction in the donations of foc<J and money. but we
remain grateful to these m8ny kind people.
Sadly. our co-ordinator left us injanuary asa resultof which rngnyof ourwlunteers have stepped up to ¢over pans ol
this key role.
Tara antt Kate now njn our Ailmin ieam. they ha¥etrained 2 new admin people. Chri$Chapman h8s continued to be an
enormous part of the Food Bank. she 15 session leadingand helps totrain newvolunieers. Our (Jeliverydrivers'taam
have been busier than ever. The stock & 5hoppers'tearns hav8 done a great job collecting donaie(J food. buying and
5toringfood whilst checking on sell-by dares.
We h8Ye Continued to work with professional agenciesvtho help our clients to helpthemselves out of food poverty. Each
Tues#8y at Food Bank we welcome variosjs people like'.-

The Food Bank ￿MainS in 8 h8alttyfinancial posrtion (Jespit8 8 deficit of E14.252-35 fortheye8r ending 31" March 2025.
Thiswas due to £12.￿7 of expenditure linked io m¢)ving premises and purchasing cupboards eic forfood storage. Our
bu(Jget for the forthcoming year shows 8 Potential deficit of £5.475 which will not compromise our Cash rese￿e8 and as
longa5 we c8n maintain the level otijonations which will requi￿ sorne attention tyutwill enable us to continue to
supportthose ￿quiring OUT help with food parcels.
The CAF 8¢counts continue io be benefi"c181 with inte￿st earned and controlle(S online bankingiransaction$. Our
Natwest account where most of our in¢oming¢Jonations come remains a slight concern, butwe continueto focus on
any new donors via ourCAF account.

As the trustees of the charity you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements in
accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 {'the Act,).
report in respect of my examination of the charitvs financial statements carried out under
section 145 of the 2011 Art and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable
Directions 8iven by the Charity Commission under section 145{5}{bl of the Att.
Independent examlnerfs statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention
in connettion with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect-
accounting records were not kept in respect of the charity as requlred by sertion 130 of the
Act,. or
the financial statements do not accord with those records; or
the financial statements do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the
form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations
2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fairf view which is not a
mattÈr considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to
which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.
