building works. The whole community benefited from the new kitchen, disabled WC, flexible sea:ng, good hea:ng, sound and ligh:ng. A café was held every Saturday morning in May and June, bringing in new visitors as well as locals and with many volunteers helping make it a success.

Events included a popular Midsummer Supper, nature talk, medita:on and poetry groups, opera evening, Christmas Fair, and first aid training – all designed to bring the community together and raise much-needed funds for future works at the church as well as suppor:ng other chari:es.
