(ii) to establish or secure the establishment of a community centre (hereinafter called 'the centre') and to maintain and manage the same (whether alone or in co-operation with any local authority or person or body) in furtherance of these objects.

Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	Our charity has enabled the continuation of the facilities for use by the community. Supporting activities for a wide range of groups from a broad age demographic (Newborn to 90+). In addition, the facility has supported a range of cultural activities including but not limited to choral singing, drama and art. The charity has also improved the open space creating a community facility that is open to the wider public to be used for recreation.

Financial Review
Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period	Para 1.21	The charity retains its financial position with circa £35k in reserve. Operationally the charity has made a small loss over the year, mainly due to high energy costs and the additional grounds maintenance cost to improve the open space.
Statement explaining the policy for holding reserves stating why they are held	Para 1.22	The reserves have been earmarked to improve the facility for the community with plans being drawn to refurbish the facility. As part of the work it is planned to make the facility more energy efficient which will make the charity more resilient long term.
