Other The overall purpose of our charity is
to provide the community with a
sustainable, long lasting wheeled
sports park that will increase
accessibility to all, improve physical
and mental well-being for the
community and provide invaluable
social beneft and community
connection.
Part of our role is also to raise
awareness. Skateparks are often
surrounded by a stigma that they are
frequented by troublemakers and
that it’s not a “traditional sport” and
the riders can be discriminated
against for this, we advocate for the
clear benefts that a high quality
accessible park can achieve for
skateboarders, scooters, BMX and
roller
skaters.
Our initiative aims to strengthen
community connections by creating a
space for a multi-generational
community to come together, enjoy
recreation and the benefts that
provides.
