To prevent and relieve hardship and distress amongst persons who are in need by reason of homelessness, psychological or physical infirmity or addiction, or who, by reason of adverse circumstances, ill-health or by being a discharged offender, are in need of help in acquiring a settled way of life, by the provision of residential accommodation, move-on accommodation, care and treatment.
Objects: To prevent and relieve hardship and distress amongst persons who are in need, who are adversely impacted themselves or by association, by reason of substance misuse, addiction, homelessness, trauma or ill health by the provision to such persons of accommodation, care, treatment, access to educational, employment and training opportunities or other assistance.To advance education and raise awareness amongst the public by any appropriate means into the causes and impact of addiction, homelessness, trauma or ill health.
