Section C ectives and activities The Objects of the CIO are the advancement of public eduGation in, and the study of, local history. For the purpose of this clause, the local area shall mean Cranbrook & Sissinghurst in particular, and the Weald of Kent, in general. 2025 was a good year ft)r visitor numbers, very much in line with last year, included in which were almost 250 children on organised school visits. We also conducted a series of very successful Outreach projects, including local primary, secondary, and special n88ds schools. During the season y held three exhibitions.. We have also inv8Sted in some Digitising Equipment, which will eventually enable the digitising of all th8 Museum's recordsl The Museum is a membar of a county wide initiative called 'Wheels of rime, covering 56 heritage sites in Kent. We welcomed a significant of parentslchildren over the season. Section E Financial review The Trustees have agreed that, where possible, the CIO will hold the equivalent of one yearfs ovérheads (currently circa £14k) in liquid reserves, ie either Bank current or deposit account.
