Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	During 2021 WEG invested in tools and equipment while working in the Building Block community workshop. Volunteers manufactured in excess of 100 wildlife habitats products there using recycled timber sourced from local industry. WEG also persuaded the Worcester City Council to purchase cut and collect machines so that when the grass was cut and collected those green spaces reverted to wildflower hay meadows. In addition, WEG planted an edible hedge and maintained and restored traditional orchards. Councillors at city and county level donated funds for the purchase of wildlife habitat products to be placed in their wards.
