equipment while working in the Building Block
community workshop. Volunteers
manufactured in excess of 100 wildlife habitats
products there using recycled timber sourced
from local industry.
WEG also persuaded the Worcester City
Council to purchase cut and collect machines
so that when the grass was cut and collected
those green spaces reverted to wildflower hay
meadows. In addition, WEG planted an edible
hedge and maintained and restored traditional
orchards.
Councillors at city and county level donated
funds for the purchase of wildlife habitat
products to
