Para 1.17 | Emiliani Trust is a charity organisation registered in England and Wales aiming at advancing educational assistance, providing school uniforms and shoes to underprivileged children and orphans living in Zimbabwe. This report covers assistance offered from 01/01/2022 up to 31/12/2022 providing information on how many children were assisted, their geographical area and gender.46 children were assisted with school fees, 21 were girls and 25 were boys. Examinaton fees Examination fees were paid in full in the following schools, Mundenda secondary school with 8 ordinary level students, Magama Mission with 1 ordinary level student and St James Zongoro High with 1 advanced level student. In total ten students were assisted with examination fees for both ordinary level and advanced level. The main objectives of the charity is: 1. To advance the education of underprivileged children, young people and orphans living in Zimbabwe in particular but not exclusively by the provision of financial support towards educational programmes, activities, clothes (including school uniforms and shoes) and equipment . 2.To assist orphans and vulnerable rural and urban children to remain in school through payment of school fees so that they rise above their beginnings. 3.To provide a combination package of educational materials like school uniforms, food staffs and exercise books. 4. To improve in children better outlook on life and |

Committed in promoting equality among all children by ensuring that the interests and rights of vulnerable boys and girls are respected and will be mainstreamed in all the processes of selection and verification. 6. All children will be treated equally based on different vulnerabilities and issues of confidentiality will also uphold with utmost professionalism. . 7. Addressing the gender role disparities, relations, needs and interests of boys and girls to meet their immediate needs and achieve equal rights, opportunities and outcomes. |

Para 1.38 | Emiliani Trust works with volunteers through out Zimbabwe who help with identification of vulnerable children. These volunteers include religious leaders, schools heads and teachers who dedicate their time to help less priviledged children of their communities. These volunteeres are not paid any remuneration, they offer their services for free. They help the trust by tracking progress of the children in school and make sure that they attend school without fail. |

The schools under this province are St Boniface Secondary school Hurungwe, Mukwatsine primary school in Mbire, Chinhoyi primary school, Chirorodziva primary school, Chinhoyi high 2 and Murereka primary school in Chinhoyi. Mashonaland East province has Rusike primary school in Goromonzi district. Manicaland province has Ngangu primary school in Chimanimani district, Mundenda primary and secondary school and St James Zongoro in Mutasa district. Para 1.20 | The Charity has managed to keep children in school. Some of the children had already dropped out of school and they had no one to pay for their school fees. Some had no uniforms and stationery Fifty six children were assisted with school fees throughout the year of 2021 and one dropped in the second term and there was a total of fifty five children around Zimbabwe and twenty eighty are girls and twenty seven are boys. Twenty nine children are from primary school and twenty six are from secondary school. |
