Activities

Based in Reading, we provide an annual festival of dance, encouraging local talent and community participation as well as showcasing dance professionals to reach new audiences and inspire a love of dance. We support people to overcome barriers to dance and get them to access dance. We help tackle mental health challenges faced by young and old through a lively programme of dance for all abilities.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO, Which Are For The Public Benefit And To Be Carried Out In The South East Region, With A Particular Focus On The Greater Reading Area, Are:1) To Advance Public Appreciation Of, And Education In, The Art Of Dance.2) To Preserve And Protect Good Health By Providing Opportunities To Participate In Dance As A Means Of Improving Mental And Physical Health And Wellbeing.
