The charity works with the landowner (London Borough of Barnet Borough Council) to make the site safely accessible and attractive to people in the local area bearing in mind that the objective is to create a wildlife area in part of the site. |

Our volunteer days enable trustees and volunteers to learn skills related to wildlife habitat development and maintenance, landscaping, natural planting, general gardening and care for the environment. |

Para 1.20 | Our main achievements have been: 1. landscaping part of the site, importing Thanet sand and ceramic waste to enable planting of wildflowers in early 2023 2. identifying suitable native and near native wildflowers for planting 3. a positive annual consultation showing that people enjoy the having access to a previously inaccessible park area and the tranquillity of the site |

Para 1.41 | This year a rare daytime moth was seen, which we take as a sign that biodiversity is beginning to occur. Tree labels have been attached to specific trees to educate beneficiaries about the trees. |
