Income tax recoverable in relation to donabons received under Grft Aid or deeds of covenant is recognised al the time of the donation. Grants payable are charged in the year when the offer is made except in those cases where the offer is conditional, such grants being cOgnised as expenditure when the conditions attsching are fulfilled. Measuremenl is at ihe fair value receivable, which will normally be the transaction value.
