During the reporting year three of our younger leaders in the Scoul and Senior Scout sections attended courses in advanced woodcraft and Safety in the Hills in Dertjyshire and Northumberland respe¢tively, the latter course leading to a qualiflcation enabling the group to take Scouts safely into mountainous terrain. Financial Review Review of the charity's financial positson at the end of the period Para 1.21 The Chaiity's financial position remained strong at the end of the financial pgriod with a balance of £5.277.64 in the bank account, compared an opening balance of£5,791.85.
