During the reporting year three of our younger leaders in the Scoul and Senior Scout sections attended courses in advanced woodcraft and Safety in the Hills in Dertjyshire and Northumberland respe¢tively, the latter course leading to a qualiflcation enabling the group to take Scouts safely into mountainous terrain. All reside and are well-known in the local community served by the group. The Trustees retire in rotation with appointments for four. three and two years respectively. On retirement or resignation of a Trustee, the Chair will consult with the wider membership including the leaders, to identify a replacgment. Currently all of the original 2020 TrUSt￿S have agreed to remain in post at the request of the Chair and the adult leaders.
