Activities

Working within the West Midlands, Direct Art Action UK aims to bring back art into the local community by re-purposing vacant units on the high street. Our aim is to organise accessible artistic events, exhibitions and classes for the public. We are able to do this by building a community of artists, that can engage and inspire the public by delivering community and public interest art and events.

Objects: 2.1. The Charity’s Objects (‘Objects’), Being Aimed At The Residents Of Birmingham And Beyond, Are Specifically Restricted To The Following: 2.1.1. To Advance, Educate And Promote The Arts For The Public Benefit, By Providing The Display Of Artists Work At Public Exhibitions; 2.1.2. To Advance The Education Of Arts For The Public Benefit Through The Provision Of Workshops At Public Galleries; 2.1.3. To Support, The Advancement And Enjoyment Of The Arts, Making IT Accessible To People Of A Low Socio-Economic Background And Those With Mental And Physically Disabilities.
